The election for the new Non-Academic Assessor on the university court resulted in Dr Alison Sandeman
winning with 61 votes and Phil Robertson runner-up with 49 votes. Alison is elected to serve for 4 years
from 1st August, 2009.
Trustee News : Pensioners increase from 1st April, 2009 is 5% less for the contributions paid after
1st April, 2006 for which the increase is only 2.5%
The salary increase from 1st October, 2008 is 5.00% being paid 3.5% on 31st October + 1.5% 30th
November, 2008
Marjory attended the Educational conference in Brighton. One motion passed called for the
re-establishment of JNCHES the Scottish group as funding policy is different here from
down south.
Grading Review process in place with closing dates for applications of 6th June; 30th September and 31st January, 2009 ;
PaySave has been implemented from 1st April, 2008;
